To broadcast ‘vocal jazz’ was not a preconceived plan. It evolved through time in pursuit of creating my ideal world.

May ’23

Virginiamusic is the (static) continuation of Trekstation jazz. Seven Trekstation-channels were created together with my dear friend and colleague Jeffrey Willems. But on a spring-day in 2022 he had a heart attack and passed away…. After a year of struggle and a sad and gloomy mood by keeping all channels on-air, I had to decide to give up our beloved Trekstation project. How I miss him!

This jazz-station is on-air since 2007.
From May 2023 Virginiamusic / Trekstation jazz remains on-air, but retired.
It was wonderful to have worked on my ideal world, for years.
